Today I raced the Greeley Sprint Triathlon, my first time racing in Greeley. Having not done a sprint distance tri since 2006 and coming off an injury I have had for 14 weeks I was not sure how my speed would be. I was pleasantly surprised running a 20:30 5k split after a blazing 32 split for the 12 mile bike. I missed the overall female course record by 5 seconds....hummm...if I did not have to slow down to pass others in the 500 long course meter pool....

Overall a great venue put on by first class Greeley Tri Club triatletes. Looking forward to racing next year as well as the remainder of the summer
